Setting Up Payment Methods

In this video, we're going to guide you through setting up a payment method within ShapeConnect and paying an invoice. Follow these steps:

  1. In Payment Preferences, locate the Make Payments area. Note that Accepting Payments is designed for vendors and won’t be necessary if you’re not accepting payments within the platform.
  2. You have the option to link a bank account via ACH or to enter a credit card. For this demonstration, we will link an ACH bank account.
  3. Click Link Bank Account
  4. Accept the terms and conditions. ShapeConnect uses Stripe for connecting your bank account, ensuring that none of your banking information is stored on ShapeConnect.
  5. Find your bank by searching for its name.
  6. Enter your bank credentials to log in.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. If you have multiple accounts, they will all appear in the list. Select the checking account you wish to link.
  9. If your account has two-factor authentication enabled, you will be prompted to complete that step.
  10. You will be asked if you want to save the account with link. For this demonstration, we will choose 'No' and finish the process.
  11. Your bank account is now connected, enabling you to make payments within the ShapeConnect platform.
